In the last week of September 2023 Mike Gurule, Los Altos Parks & Recreation supervisor, was seen by at least 5 different employees selling a hand gun to the irrigator Damien. A couple of these employees have tried to tell the higher ups but the main supervisor above him, Kenny, is his friend and refuses to act on or even acknowledge it. Having a firearm on city property is illegal. Also, selling said merchandise on the clock while on city property is also illegal. Since then Mike Gurule has systematically retaliated against any employees who dare to speak out against him. Going to far as to falsify statements, illegally watch GPS, and even call in anonymous 311s on his own employees. Mike Gurule is unfit to be in charge of anybody. He must be investigated before it turns into a costly civil suit and at the very least transfered.
